The Winky family is mourning yet another loss. We send our love and support to Dean on the loss of your Mother. It is odd to have two band members lose Mothers in less than a week. Such a huge loss for each them and their families.
Dean and his sister were the main care takers of Della for almost 2 years. Their dedication and love for her were evident. Dean, came home on the week ends to play with the band and on Sunday went back up north to take care of his parents. Mothers always have a way of lighting up our lives. Her love is forever with you Dean in your memories. May your loss be lessened knowing that the Winky family is thinking of you and your family at this difficult time. It's difficult to watch friends; Mark & Dino struggle with the death of a loved one, one so close as your Mother. You want to express your sympathy, but how? What words can you say to help bring them comfort? My only thought and prayer for both of them is; I hope in time both of their pain lessons and only the good memories of their Mothers remain. Dean & Rachael, Mark & Kim and to each of your families, we'd like to express our deepest sympathies. Our love to you and your families, Bob & Mona, Dave & Jennifer, the Dude & Cindi, Johnni G, Bruce & Deed

Our deepest sympathy to Mark on the loss of your Mother, Mavis. The loss of a loved one is one of the most difficult and challenging times in one's life. There is obviously no good time or way for someone whom you care about to die. It's difficult to know what to say at times like this. We are deeply sorry and want to offer our condolences to: Mark & Kim, Case & Kris, Al & Gussie and their family members. Please accept our heartfelt condolences at this most challenging time.
Mark’s unique strength along with his dedication to his Mother was so admirable. He never complained. His love for his Mother was evident. Mark, willingly took care of his Mom for 3 years. I'm sure he'll miss her dearly. I hope in time your families pain will ease and the happier times will remain for all of you. Your entire family is in our thoughts. Love, Bob & Mona, Dave & Jennifer, the Dude & Cindi, Johnni G, Dino & Rachael, Bruce & Deed

Wow, its September.
Last night we played in Spring Valley Wisconsin @ the Iron Horse Bar. What a blast!. Spring Valley was celebrating Dam Days. The Iron Horse was a ROCK-EN... It was so packed you couldn't have gotten one more person in there if you tried. It didn't matter though, the dance floor was a hopping and the beer a flowing. We came to play & the town came to party. Its a great town and fun bar. The guys have a blast playing for the Iron Horse. See you in the Spring.

Congrats to Bella as she is going to be a big sister. **Sunday September 20th, Bob's twin grandsons were baptized. Two special little guys. You guys need to see Robbie whose named after Bob. Our thanks to all who came out to Fridley 49er Days despite the weather. Of course as were breaking down the sun starts to come out.
Fabulous turn out for Tommy Rehbine's benefit. It was great seeing so many people for this worthy cause. Tommy's health issues are getting a little better. Putting a benefit together is never an easy ordeal. It takes many to help organize and run it. For all of those involved you did a fabulous job....
I'd like to extend a special thanks to my guys and Mark Thayer. Lots of fun having Mark sit in with the guys. Mark accompanied my guys by playing fiddle. He played some lead with Dave and a few keys as well.
You guys blew the doors off Rostomo's. Great job guys!. The Mr.Winky band musicians are very talented. Its times like this that make me proud when they jump in to help out. In the past the Mr.Winky band played at Rostomo's for years. During that time they meet Tommy. You could always find Tommy at the side of the dance floor waiting to dance or moving back and forth to the music. I'm glad we were able play his benefit to help aid him in this worthy cause.
You can always find Mark Thayer at the Breakaway Bar & Grill in Robbinsdale running sound & lights. Friday & Saturday nights.
And of course thanks to Brenda & Dick for having a huge heart to get this thing started. Dick you make a mean Goulash.... We hope all of you had a fun day at this sad event. Much thanks to all of you who came and participated. Hope to see you all again soon. Our best to Tommy & his family.

Special events: waiting the arrival of Max David. Congrats to the 2009 Senior graduates: Jenna ( Princess) and Michael Mann. Wishing you all lifes best. Happy Anniversary to my husband of 31 years!!. Mr.Winky Band is playing our 2nd year at Fridley 49er Days. Saturday June 27 Noon - 4pm Lots of fun to be had, come join us that day. Benefit for Tommy Rehbine at Rostomo's Bar & Grill - Crystal 763-537-7431 Sunday June 28 3pm - 9pm. Donations $5.00 includes food.. Silent Auction, Raffles. Band starts at 3pm - 6pm Come out and have some fun for this worthy cause.
Tommy Rehbine - CRYSTAL, Minn. -- Authorities in Crystal are asking for the public's help after a man was found badly injured. Officers found Thomas Rehbine of Brooklyn Park around 5 a.m. May 14th. He was lying in the middle of the street in the area of Lombardy Lane and Florida Avenue. The 55-year-old had serious injuries to the front and back of his head. He is in the hospital, but police say he is unable to talk to investigators. His condition is not known.
Authorities are asking anyone who was in the area or had contact with Rehbine earlier that day to call police at 763-531-1020.
Tommy would never hurt anyone or anything. This is such a terrible thing. Its so senseless. The police have no leads. Who ever did this left him in the street to die..... I'm sure he couldn't imagine how someone could do this to him.
Tommy loved music. He would stand off to the side of the dance floor rocking back and forth till one of the girls would ask him to dance. If Tommy knew a benefit was being put on for him he would like it.
Come join us Sunday June 28th to raise money for Tommy. Tommy, your in our thoughts and prayers.
Thanks to Dick & Brenda Rostomo for opening their establishment and hearts to help Tommy Rehbine and family. Thanks to my guys for playing for this worthy cause. Many others have contribued and asked how they can help or offered their help too. Thanks. It takes many with big hearts to put on a benefit. Hats off to all of you...
